Privacy Policy

Ball Knowledge is a free sports party game made by Cartava App LLC ("we", "us"). This policy explains what the app collects and why. The short version: very little, and nothing for advertising.

No accounts

You never create an account or give us your email, phone number or real name to play. Local (pass-and-play) games happen entirely on your phone, and nothing about them is sent to us.

What we collect

• An anonymous ID. When you open the app, Firebase Authentication (a Google service) gives your phone a random anonymous ID. It isn't tied to your name, email or Apple ID. We use it only so online rooms know which phone is which player.
• Names you type for online games. When you host or join an online room, the name you enter is stored in our Firebase database so the other players can see it. It's kept only while the room exists. Rooms are deleted when the game ends, and any room left behind is deleted or overwritten within 24 hours.
• Crash reports. If the app crashes, Firebase Crashlytics sends us a crash report: what went wrong in the code, your device model and iOS version. We use these only to fix bugs.

Names you type for local games, and your settings, stay on your phone.

What we don't do

• No ads.
• No tracking across other apps or websites.
• We don't sell, rent or share your data with anyone for marketing.

Who processes the data

We use Google Firebase (Authentication, Realtime Database, App Check and Crashlytics) to run online play and receive crash reports. Google processes this data on our behalf. See Firebase's privacy information.

This website

This website doesn't use cookies, analytics or trackers. Our hosting provider may keep standard server logs (like IP addresses) for security.

Children

Ball Knowledge is not directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we'll delete it.

Your choices

You can play local games without anything leaving your phone. Deleting the app removes everything stored on your phone. To ask about or delete anything we hold, email us.

Changes

If we change this policy, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
